• 8-18-21, 2:20 PM to 5:05 PM, 1500 block of Fair Oaks. Suspect takes victim’s unattended loss. SUSPECT ARRESTED BY ALHAMBRA PD. LOSS: Backpack, miscellaneous items (recovered).

• 8-19-21, 7:56 AM to 8:23 AM, 900 block of Fair Oaks (Rite Aid). Suspect places loss in backpack and leaves store without paying. Suspect is found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Female, Asian, 45 years, transient. LOSS: Skin care products (recovered).

• 8-19-21, 6:15 PM to 6:36 PM, 1100 block of Fair Oaks (Vons). Suspect takes and consumes loss without paying. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, White, 46 years, Belton, TX. LOSS: Soda, liquor.

IDENTITY THEFT

  • 8-17-21, 9:07 AM to 9:39 AM. Suspect(s) use victim’s social security number and prevents victim from receiving checks.

FRAUD

• 8-16-21, 9:05 AM to 8-17-21, 9:05 AM. Suspect(s) use victim’s information and makes an unauthorized transaction.

• 8-17-21, 4:34 PM to 4:42 PM. Suspect(s) use victim’s information and makes several unauthorized transactions.

• 8-16-21, 8:00 AM to 8:13 AM. Suspect(s) use victim’s information and makes an unauthorized transaction.

• 8-16-21, 12:01 AM to 7:30 AM. Suspect(s) use victim’s information and makes an unauthorized transaction.

• 8-16-21, 9:31 AM to 8-17-21, 8:26 AM. Suspect(s) use victim’s information and makes an unauthorized transaction.

• 8-16-21, 12:55 PM to 8-18-21, 4:44 PM. Suspect(s) use victim’s information and makes an unauthorized transaction.

• 8-18-21, 1:00 PM to 8-19-21, 1:53 PM. Suspect(s) attempt to use victim’s information to make unauthorized withdrawals.

• 8-23-21, 12:18 PM to 12:37 PM. Victim lists a laptop for sale online. Suspect responds to the advertisement and sends a cashier’s check well above the asking price. Victim becomes suspicious and does not cash the check.

• 8-21-21, 12:01 AM to 8-23-21, 11:59 PM. Suspect(s) use victim’s information and make an unauthorized transaction.

  • 8-13-21, 12:00 AM to 8-17-21, 10:30 AM, 900 block of Fair Oaks (Bank of America). Suspect(s) install a card skimming device onto an ATM.

ASSAULT

  • 8-18-21, 8:52 PM to 9:26 PM, 1100 block of Oxley. Suspect gets into an argument with victim and pushes victim’s arm. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Female, White, 51 years, transient.

CRIMINAL THREATS

  • 8-19-21, 10:07 PM, 1000 block of Diamond. Suspect threatens to kill victim and victim’s family member. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Black, 42 years, transient.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY

  • 8-20-21, 7:00 PM to 8-23-21, 1:32 PM, 1300 block of Monterey (St. James Church). Suspect(s) gain entry into storage room through an unlocked window and take loss. LOSS: Projector and amplifier.

• 8-21-21, 3:09 PM, 400 block of Fair Oaks. Unsafe backing (vehicle vs. pedestrian).

• 8-23-21, 6:28 AM, Huntington/Fremont. Failure to yield right-of-way at intersection.
