It was a night for kids to show their Halloween costumes as the City of South Pasadena held its annual Spooktacular event last Friday night at Orange Grove Park. There were ghosts, goblins, cowboys, princesses, pirates and more as the cast of characters enjoyed a variety of games, inflatables, food, music, activities and even a real train!

Several SPHS students were volunteers for the event where the Halloween photo booth was a popular stop as well as the super fun crafts going on at the SPARC booth where kids could make their own spiders and ghosts and mummies. Volunteers Bianca Richards, Gretchen Robinette, Sandy Kitto and others joined SPARC founder Lissa Reynolds in all the fun; said Reynolds, “the kids are so darn cute!”
