The SPHS Dance Department continues its tradition of excellence with the presentation of their Spring Dance Concert entitled “Four Seasons”. The always entertaining show will have three performances at the SPHS Main Auditorium May 23, 24, and 25 at 7pm. The dancers will take the audience on a journey through the four seasons; Summer, Autumn, Winter, and Fall through a variety of dance styles.
Dance Director, Courtney Cheyne tells us, “what is extremely exciting this year is the guest choreographers. We have a total of 5 guest choreographers ranging from ballet, tap, and jazz styles.” She goes on to say, “we were very fortunate to have Malik Warlick, an alumni from the Alvin Ailey School in New York, come and teach several classes as well as choreograph a very exciting piece for the concert.”
The show is appropriate for all ages and for everyone to enjoy!
Tickets for general admission are $10 at the door. $7 with SAC card. South Pasadena High School, 1401 Fremont Avenue, South Pasadena.
