In honor of veterans, the Darden Sisters Band will entertain guests on Wednesday, November 7, as part of a special luncheon at the South Pasadena Woman’s Club.
The multi-talented Dardens, who are instrumentalists and singers, will add a patriotic flair to the gathering with a toe-tapping musical medley in observance of Veterans Day.
Highlight of the meeting will be introduction of local veterans, including special guest and club member, Joan Moffett, 95, who served in the Army during WWII.

The Dardens have performed on television shows, summer concert tours around the United States, and for special events on both the Queen Mary and on the U.S.S Battleship Iowa. They specialize in four part harmony and are comprised of Clarah, the lead guitarist; Selah, on the violin; Havi on mandolin, and Tabbi, the bassist.

The public is invited to attend the star spangled salute to American and have the opportunity to meet and thank veterans who have served the country.
