South Pasadena Public Library’s Teen Advisory Board presents Literary Artober from October 1 through October 31. It is a month long art challenge designed to encourage creativity and a way to unplug for a few minutes each day to draw.

Our theme for this month is Literary – inspired by the books we have read while growing up in the library. Each day, we will post a new prompt to Instagram and Facebook. Participants are encouraged to post their creations on social media and tag the library with the hashtags #artober #spplartober.

The South Pasadena Public Library building is currently closed to the public for the health and safety of our community. Library Takeout, a no-contact check-out/pick-up service, is now available. Library Takeout is open on Monday – Thursday 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m; Friday – Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; Sunday – Closed.
