The South Pasadena Police Department continues to offer its free women’s self-defense classes throughout the year.

The hands-on class teaches women 18 years and older the proper techniques on how to defend themselves and escape from dangerous situations.

In addition, the police department will also be conducting two classes specifically for teenage girls (14-17 years).

Pre-registration for the Saturday classes is required as class size is limited, and open to South Pasadena residents.
