South Pasadena High graduates will gather at Garfield Park in the city on Saturday, June 9, for the school’s annual Picnic and Association members meeting.
“We’re very excited to host our annual alumni picnic and membership meeting,” said SPHS alum Michael Thurman, one of the organizers of the event. “It’s a great chance for SPHS alums to see their friends, meet other alumni and enjoy a free hot dog lunch.”
The picnic is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the gazebos in the center of the park. A brief SPHS Alumni Association meeting will be held.
Lunch, while supplies last, will be served starting at noon. All classes of the school are welcome. Volunteers who wish to help us set up for the event are invited to join organizers at the park starting at 8 am.
