Lots of people who want to make their homes and lifestyles more sustainable. The only problem is they don’t have any idea where to start. There will be plenty of inspiration and education as next Sunday from 1pm to 4pm, six private homes will open their beautiful gardens to showcase different projects that have made better use of resources, reduced water or a lessened a footprint.

The 48th annual South Pasadena Beautiful Garden Tour will also raise funds for South Pasadena Beautiful’s next beautification project; the re-landscaping of the Post Office. Tickets are available online at the SPB website www.southpasbeautiful.org or at Eddie Park on the day of the tour. The tour begins at Eddie Park.

Earth Day in the Park events, including the traditional plant swap, are free.
