Seniors Celebrate 4th of July

Many seniors attended the annual luncheon featuring everything from hamburgers to ice cream sundaes

South Pasadena seniors, plus some from neighboring cities, celebrated Independence Day with a traditional lunch featuring hamburgers, roasted corn, old-fashioned potato salad, chips and ice cream sundaes.

Mixing the music was D.J. Ben, who played a variety of sounds, including some patriotic favorites, to keep the guests entertained throughout the luncheon.

The South Pasadena Senior Center, 1102 Oxley St., provides programs and activities at 1102 Oxley Street. Lunch Monday through Friday is served for only $2.25 per person.
