Rotary Donates Book on Behalf of Speaker Edward Amey

Edward Amey, managing director for the Institute for Redesign of Learning, was the guest speaker at this week’s Rotary Club meeting

Rotary President Dan Watson presented a book that will be donated to the South Pasadena Library on behalf of Tuesday’s speaker, Edward Amey, managing director for the Institute for the Redesign of Learning.

Amey provided a fascinating program on teaching with dignity that has been beneficial to special needs students at the Almansor Academy in South Pasadena and the Westmoreland Academy in Pasadena.

The Rotary Club of South Pasadena meets every Tuesday except for the first Tuesday of the month at noon in the Tower Room at the Oneonta Church.  On the first Tuesday of the month, Rotary meets at the Canoe House in South Pasadena at 6 p.m. for an informal social meeting.  Visitors are always welcome.

The speaker for the May 29 meeting will be Rotary Club member Reda Beebe who will give a craft talk on her experiences and career as a realtor with Dilbeck.
