Vieth talked about how he was imprisoned for many years as the family lost their home and moved to a small town.  Her family was extremely poor and couldn’t afford basics like shoes.  It was the first chapter of a compelling story, which will continue when Mae returns for the rest of the story including how she and other family members immigrated to the United States.

The Rotary Club of South Pasadena meets every Tuesday at noon in the Tower Room of the Oneonta Congregational Church except for the first Tuesday of each month when the meet at 6 pm at The Canoe House for an informal social gathering.  Those interested in learning more about Rotary is encouraged to attend.
