Pasadena’s Ice House Comedy Club welcomes one of the funniest comics working today, when STEVE “Mudflap” McGREW brings his lively, opinionated and definitely un-politically-correct brand of stand-up to four “Hollywood Comes to Pasadena” shows on November 2 and 3.

Known as the “Equal Opportunity Offender”, STEVE McGREW has been on virtually every cable show devoted to standup comedy, including An Evening at the Improv, Caroline’s Comedy Hour, Showtime’s Full Frontal Comedy, and Comedy on the Road, among others. He’s also appeared on several Comedy Central shows including Premium Blend, Shorties Watchin’ Shorties and his own Comedy Central Presents special, in which he received a standing ovation.

McGrew’s take on the lighter side of relationships — from a definitely male perspective — and his observational humor about life in the south, his ex-wives and “old school” techniques for child rearing helped make him one of the most popular attractions in the comedy world. The Rocky Mountain View best sums up the hilarity and irreverence with which he tackles his subject matter. “Steve is what comedy should be. Funny.”

“Hollywood Comes to Pasadena” is a six act comedy show, featuring top tier comedians and entertainers, along with ‘Mystery Guests”, who drop in to do a set and surprise the audience. Before the show, Ice House guests can hang out the newly redecorated patio to enjoy “close-up” magic performed by magicians and illusionists from Hollywood’s famed Magic Castle. After each show, guests who purchased admission will get to spin a “Gift Wheel” to win free prizes, like Ice House collectables, stuffed polar bears or a free stay at Pasadena’s glamorous Hotel Constance!
