Honor military service through the Pledge Vet program, an opportunity for veterans to be formally recognized by Los Angeles County while leading the Pledge of Allegiance at an official Board of Supervisors meeting.

Selected veterans are invited to participate in a live Board meeting, where they are acknowledged by County leadership and represent the veteran community in a meaningful civic setting.

What to Expect

  • Recognition during a live Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors meeting
  • Opportunity to lead the Pledge of Allegiance before the meeting begins
  • Acknowledgment by Supervisors and County leadership during the public session
  • Participation in a formal public meeting held at the Kenneth Hahn Hall of Administration

Board meetings are typically held on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. in Downtown Los Angeles. Veterans selected for Pledge Vet will receive details in advance, including arrival time, location, and coordination with Board staff.

Veterans from all branches of service and backgrounds are encouraged to participate.
