National Night Out

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods, like those in South Pasadena, safer, more caring places to live.

The City of South Pasadena invites the community to come out and participate in National Night Out on Tuesday, August 7, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Orange Grove Park, 815 Mission Street, in the city.

National Night Out is a nationwide campaign that helps promote a partnership between the community and the police department to help fight crime.

Residents can learn about the various ways to help the community through Neighborhood Watch and CERT. In addition, community members can also obtain information on all city services (community aervices, city manager’s office, parks and recreation, fire, public works, and more).

There will also be game booths for children and food trucks selling items.

National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
