MUSE/IQUE, under the direction of Artistic and Music Director Rachael Worby, is set to launch its 2025 season with “ACCORDING TO RAY: Ray Charles’s Message to America.” This tribute concert will take place from March 21 to 23, 2025, at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles. The performances will feature acclaimed actor and singer Brandon Victor Dixon and the DC6 Singers Collective. Tickets are available at muse-ique.com.

Ray Charles, renowned for blending gospel, blues, jazz, rock, and soul, made a significant impact with his 1972 album “A Message from the People,” which included his iconic rendition of “America the Beautiful.” This concert aims to celebrate Charles’s diverse musical legacy and his vision of America.

Brandon Victor Dixon, known for his roles in Broadway productions such as “The Color Purple, Motown: The Musical,” and Hamilton,” brings his dynamic presence to this tribute. The DC6 Singers Collective, a Los Angeles-based ensemble, is recognized for their energetic performances across various genres.

MUSE/IQUE’s 2025 season, themed “Make Some Noise: Music and Stories of American Defiance and Hope,” will continue with concerts highlighting Hollywood’s immigrant composers, the Hollywood Blacklist, and the evolution of music in Harlem and Memphis. Performances are scheduled at venues across Los Angeles, including The Huntington, Skirball Cultural Center, The Wallis, and Pasadena Memorial Park.
