South Pasadena Arts and Music Academy is proud to announce the addition of two new instructors. The academy formerly known as Green Brooms reminds us they are the “same great people. Brand new name!” South Pasadena Arts and Music Academy believes in the power of music to inspire and enrich lives. They believe in “passing down the joy of music to all of our students , providing them with exposure to musical expression and building self-esteem.” Owner Manuel Lozano is proud to say that all of his instructors are working professionals in their fields and tells us it’s always exciting to bring new people to the mix. So without further ado, let’s meet Kat Hamilton and Rainee Blake.

South Pasadena Arts and Music Academy is partnering with the South Pasadena Educational Fund (SPEF) for their semi-annual $10 lesson day Sunday January 26, 2020. “We love giving back to the community,” explains Lozano, “it’s simple, we teach lessons for $10 instead of our regular $40 rate and we donate all proceeds to SPEF. This is our 6th year running this event in South Pasadena and our teachers love to teach that day; the energy is super positive and one of my favorite days to come in to work. We also offer 20% off the first month’s tuition and people love it. It’s a great day to try a new instrument or dust off the guitar or vocal chords!”

Partnering with SPEF was a natural fit says Lozano, “they are a fantastic organization and education is very important to us. Many of our students at South Pasadena Arts and Music Academy and kids of our adult students attend South Pas schools.”

There are still a few spots left, so book your lesson today!
