Author and Senior Research Scientist from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory will lead audience members on a fascinating tour of some of NASA’s latest discoveries. Autographed copies of Dr. Buratti’s newest book “Worlds Fantastic, Worlds Familiar” will be available for purchase.

LA Dodgers Play-by-Play Broadcaster

One of the brightest stars in sports broadcasting, Joe Davis will appear for a Baseball Night event moderated by Houston Mitchell, Assistant Sports Editor for the “LA Times”, and author of the popular “Dodgers Dugout” online newsletter. Joe Davis was named Vin Scully’s successor for the 2017 season, alongside pitching great Orel Hershiser who adds the color commentary. Dodger Historian Mark Langill will give an introduction, and the program will include time for audience Q&A.
SAT Practice Test

The South Pasadena Public Library is partnering with IvyMax to offer a free SAT Practice Test. Experience the real thing but in a no-pressure, practice environment! IvyMax instructors will administer the practice SAT, score tests, and follow up with personalized feedback. IvyMax is a leading education service provider offering SAT preparation, college application counseling, and leadership development.
