On the heels of China confirming 15,152 new novel coronavirus cases and 254 additional deaths, Congress member Judy Chu, who represents South Pasadena in the 27th District, announced she will address concerns during a Facebook Live event on Friday, February 14, at 11:30 a.m.

The U.S. has confirmed the 15th case while global cases soar above 60,300.

Answering questions from the public, Chu said she will provide the latest news, “and dispel misinformation and rumors about the outbreak.”

To provide insight on the local government’s response efforts, “I will be joined by Dr. Frank Alvarez from the LA County Department of Public Health and Dr. Matthew Feaster from the Pasadena Public Health Department,” added Chu.
