From Commercials To Movies | Filming in South Pasadena December 7 to December 13, 2018

Movies, commercials and student films are regularly filmed in South Pasadena because of its “anywhere in the U.S.A.,” according to the city’s Film Liaison Joan Aguado.

Below are some of the recent productions filmed in South Pasadena:

•12/7 – A student film (NY Film Academy) was shot in the 800 block of Rollin Street.

•12/7 – A commercial for “Yes Please” was shot in the 400 block of Floral Park Terrace.

•12/8 – A still photo for “NY Life” was shot in the 1900 block of La France Avenue.

•12/10 – A still photo for “Opdivo” (Pharmaceutical) was shot in the 600, 800 &1000 blocks of Mission Street and the 900 block of Fremont Avenue.

•12/10 – A commercial for “Allstate” was shot in the 1300 block of Milan Avenue.

•12/11 – A still photo for “McCann/Eli-Lilly” was shot in the 1500 block of Mission Street and the 800 block of Brent Avenue.

•12/12-13 – A feature film for “Torrance” was shot in the 2000 block of Oak Street.

•12/12–A still photo for “Full Plate” was shot in the 2000 block of Le Droit Avenue.

•12/13– A TV show, “The Kids are Alright,” was shot in the 1300 block of Fremont Avenue.

Hundreds of movies, TV commercials and student films are shot in South Pasadena throughout the year.
