South Pasadena Farmers’ Market will celebrate its 19th anniversary on Thursday, July 19, 4 – 8 p.m. with a scavenger hunt, magic show and more!

With more than 60 certified farmers and specialty food vendors to choose from, it is easy to grab a delicious dinner as well as farm-fresh produce and other prepared items to cook healthy meals at home.

The charming small-town atmosphere, set under the canopy of old oaks, provides a delightful place to have a picnic in the park with the entire family! A magic show, featuring Harvey the Magician, is scheduled for 6 p.m. in the grassy area near the Metro Gold Line station.

Along with the magic show, children will have fun taking part in a Farmers’ Market Scavenger Hunt in the market area as they try to figure out all the clues! Check www.southpasadenafarmersmarket.org for additional program details.

Farmers’ market organizers encourage patrons to ride their bike to the market and leave if for free at Bike Valet, courtesy of the Cub House. The idea is to leave your bike in a safe place while shopping.

The South Pasadena Farmers’ Market is certified, featuring some of the finest family farms in California with the freshest fruits and vegetables, and many organic producers.

It is open from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. every Thursday throughout the year (4 – 7 p.m. during fall/winter months).
