“Live music keeps the town jumping, ” says musical director Tim Baker, who is producing the show with help of a dedicated volunteer staff. “I’ve always loved the ArtsCrawl and Eclectic Festivals, and the flow of music along the streets makes us realize how special this little town is.”

Baker, a blues harmonica stylist and vocalist, is bringing in a slew of friends to perform during the event. Holland Belle Kerker of NIGHTJACKET kicks off the evening show. “Holland’s voice is so perfect it’s not human,” says Baker. “Her vocal quality is like that of a Stradivarius violin.”

Also performing are a jazz combo from Pasadena City College and the Tim Baker Blues Band featuring Baker, guitar wizard Noah Donnelly, and standout drummer Emmanuel Efravera, who appeared with Rihanna at the Grammy Awards a few years ago. “Both these guys are incredible,” says Baker, who has played with blues greats Buddy Guy, Etta James, Big Mama Thorton and performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. “We’re lucky to get them here in South Pas.”
