In honor of Earth Day, the Arroyo Vista Elementary PTA invites students and their families to participate in the Walk & Bike Bus event on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. The initiative promotes a fun, healthy, and environmentally friendly way for students to commute to school, while highlighting how small everyday choices can contribute to a better planet.
What Is a Walk & Bike Bus?
The concept is simple: think of a traditional school bus, but on foot or bicycle. Students walk or ride bikes along predetermined routes, picking up “passengers” en route. Parents, caregivers, and volunteers will accompany students to ensure everyone arrives safely at school.
