The City of South Pasadena, Athens Services and Acts Thrift are co-sponsoring Dumpster Day, a citywide cleanup day on Saturday October 13.

From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., residents are invited to bring items to the corner of Mission Street and Arroyo Drive and toss them out.

Athens Services will provide the dumpsters for all disposable items that are too bulky or heavy to place into regular trash containers such as old furniture and appliances.

Act Thrift Store will be on hand to help persons recycle unwanted but usable goods, such as furniture, clothing, housewares and more. Electronic waste will be accepted for donation. Hazardous waste is not accepted.

Residents are asked to bring proof of residency.

Seniors qualify for home pickup. Call (626) 403-7360 to learn more.
