District Seeks Applicants for Measure S Parcel Tax and Measure SP Bond Construction Oversight Committees

South Pasadena Unified School District is seeking applicants to fill vacancies on its parcel tax and bond construction oversight committees.

The Measure S parcel tax was renewed for a second time on February 27, 2018, while the Measure SP bond was passed by voters on November 6, 2016.

There are three vacancies for the Measure S Parcel Tax Oversight Committee. Three of the five community members on the Committee must have children in South Pasadena Unified schools.

There are three vacancies for the Measure SP Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee, for members in the following categories: 1) community-at-large; 2) business community; 3) senior citizens’ organization.

Applications and detailed information on the role of each committee is available on the District website – www.spusd.net. The application deadline is 4 p.m. on Thursday, November 15.
