A Noise Within presents a visceral new production of Arthur Miller’s Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece, Death of a Salesman, running from March 28 through April 19, 2026, at their Pasadena theater.
Located at 3352 E. Foothill Blvd., this production features co-artistic directors Geoff Elliott as Willy Loman and Julia Rodriguez-Elliott at the helm as director.
A Timeless Reflection on the American Dream
The play unfolds over a single, combustible 24-hour period. It follows aging salesman Willy Loman as he faces the heartbreaking reality of a career and a dream slipping through his fingers.
Director Julia Rodriguez-Elliott notes that the play’s themes of financial instability and a vanishing safety net feel more relevant today than they did at its 1949 debut.
“In the current moment, as the promise of the American Dream feels increasingly fragile, Miller’s play feels even more relevant,” said Rodriguez-Elliott.
Modern Relevance and Local Talent
Actor Geoff Elliott highlights how Willy’s fear of obsolescence mirrors modern anxieties regarding AI and rapidly changing technology.
The production features a seasoned cast, including Deborah Strang as Linda Loman. David Kepner and Ian Littleworth join the company as the Loman sons, Biff and Happy.
The creative team includes scenic designer Frederica Nascimento and costume designer Angela Balogh Calin, ensuring a high-quality visual experience for the Pasadena community.
