Music will be in the air this Sunday as the City of South Pasadena hosts its fourth of five summer concerts in Garfield Park with support from local business owners and individuals who have generously sponsored the family events.
The South Pasadena City Council and city’s Parks & Recreation Commission will present its next concert Sunday, July 22, from 5 to 7 p.m., featuring Hard Day’s Night (Beatle’s Tribute Band) in Garfield Park. The series closes on August 29 when The Answer performs.
A large crowd was on hand last Sunday as Phat Cat Swinger performed swing music during the two-hour concert.
Organizers encourage concert-goers to bring blankets, beach chairs, a picnic dinner and enjoy all the music and fun. There will also be a variety of food available for purchase from local organizations.
Concerts are made available through the support of South Pasadena business owners and individuals who have generously sponsored the family event.
