The community is invited to a free celebration at the Library’s Community Room Thursday evening, September 14 at 5:30pm . The Library will be celebrating the completion of its 2017-2022 Strategic Plan, with wine and light refreshments. Joe Matthews, the Library Consultant that assisted with the strategic planning process, will give a brief presentation about the vision for the Library’s future.
One highlight area from the 2017-2022 Strategic Plan is the focus on technology: more computers, high speed WiFi with plenty of bandwidth, increased use of social media and other digital platforms to communicate with customers, borrowable laptops for use in the library, self-service checkout machines, increased tech-support for customers using their own mobile devices to access the Library’s digital resources.
