Jeff Dale & the South Woodlawners to headline the mini-festival located in the Arroyo

Brad Colerick, host of the weekly Wednesday Americana and Thursday jazz nights in the Blue Guitar room at Arroyo Seco Golf Course will present the third annual Bradfest on Saturday, August 17. Six premier L.A. based musical acts will perform on two stages — inside the Blue Guitar room and outdoors on the Arroyo Seco Grill patio, Additionally, a third acoustic stage will feature an outdoor “jam session” near the first tee box.

Jeff Dale & the South Woodlawners will headline the Blue Guitar room with a CD release celebration for Blues Power, an impressive new album that radiates Jeff’s hard-scrabble beginnings on the south side of Chicago. The performance will feature an eclectic mix of guest musicians including, what you might not expect at a blues show — the principal cellist of the LA Opera.

Dave Tull, of the Dave Tull Trio, has long been regarded one of the finest jazz drummers in Los Angeles, frequently working with artists such as Barbara Streisand, Michael Bublé, and Chuck Mangione. He is also a gifted jazz singer and songwriter. His latest CD reached #5 on the Billboard Jazz Album chart.

Rounding out the lineup are two more Chicago natives: Jodi Siegel, a gifted blues rooted singer, songwriter and artful slide guitarist; and Raspin Stuwart, a seasoned song crafter with a soulful delivery.

Colerick and a number of other performers and guests will trade songs at a jam session near the first tee box where anyone is welcome to join in. An instrument check room will be available for those who bring instruments.

The Arroyo Seco Grill will feature a taco bar plus craft beer and wine specials. The 18-hole par-3 golf course, miniature golf, and driving range will be open. There will also be family activities such as Corn Hole and Ladder Golf. The evening kicks off at 5pm and music continues until 10pm.
