The Festival of Balloons Committee, City of South Pasadena, would like to extend an invitation to to participate in our annual Fourth of July Parade.
Our theme this year is “To the Moon and Beyond; 50 Years of Exploring America’s Freedom”.
Opening Ceremonies will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the South Pasadena Library located at 1020 El Centro Street. The Parade will start at 11 a.m.
Your arrival time to the pre-parade area should be no later than 9:30 a.m. for check in at the Registration Table. We will try to place your entry close to last year’s position.
Click here for a registration form, and a sheet stating the guidelines for parade and float entries. Please note: ALL GROUPS WITH CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES.
PLEASE RETURN THE REGISTRATION FORM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.. Entries will be judged in different categories: Theme Prize, Most Creative Use of Balloons, Commercial Entry, Motorized Entry, Marching Entry, Neighborhood Entry and Judges’ Prize. Balloons must be used on all entries in order to qualify for judging.
