A Noise Within will spark excitement for the 2025–26 season with Songs from the Volcano, a curated selection of six powerful classic plays. The season’s title captures the explosive emotions, transformation, and cathartic release within these works — each exploring the resilience of the human spirit during times of chaos and change.

“Our next season is characterized by the voices of people living in pressurized situations,” said ANW co-artistic directors Julia Rodriguez-Elliott and Geoff Elliott. “Each of these plays reflects the urgency of our current times.”

Sept. 6–28, 2025 | Previews Aug. 31–Sept. 5

The season kicks off with One Man, Two Guvnors, Richard Bean’s Tony Award-winning adaptation of Goldoni’s The Servant of Two Masters. Set in 1960s Brighton, the play offers slapstick, mistaken identity, and musical interludes as Francis Henshall juggles two bosses and twice the trouble.

Directed by Gregg T. Daniel, August Wilson’s drama returns to ANW as part of the company’s journey through the “American Century Cycle.” Set in a 1911 Pittsburgh boarding house, this gripping tale of the Great Migration examines identity, loss, and freedom in post-slavery America.

Holiday Tradition: A Christmas Carol

A Noise Within’s spirited and faithful adaptation of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol returns for the holidays. Overflowing with music, heart, and whimsy, this annual favorite has become a Los Angeles tradition.
