At a ceremony held at the City Hall patio, South Pasadena City Council and city staff gathered with South Pasadenans to commemorate the city’s 135th year. On hand to help celebrate with us were State Senator Anthony Portantino and House Representative Judy Chu. Both spoke along with remarks by Mayor Jon Primuth. A rousing rendition of Happy Birthday was sung and commemorative cupcakes were given out to all who were gathered to celebrate.

The ceremony occurred at the start of the city’s 13th annual Eclectic Music Festival and Arts Crawl on Saturday April 29, which saw revelers from South Pasadena and surrounding areas enjoying music, food, art and shopping all up and down Mission Street from 3-10pm.
