On Monday, August 10, 2026, South Pasadena Unified School District (SPUSD) welcomed 10 new certificated staff members during a New Teacher Orientation held at the District Office boardroom.
SPUSD School Board members, along with Superintendent Angela Elizondo Baxter and the District leadership team, extended a warm welcome to the new team members. The orientation and training, led by Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources Judy Correnti and Administrator of Programs and Personnel Services Katy Nielsen, included information to help them prepare and to provide motivation for the school year.
