The Mt. Lowe Chamber Players will perform a free community concert on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Pasadena.
This afternoon of world-class music features a program highlighted by Mozart’s beloved Piano Quintet and Poulenc’s energetic Sextet.
Masterworks on the Program
The performance centers on two pillars of the chamber music repertoire. Mozart famously wrote to his father regarding his Piano Quintet with Winds, “I myself consider it to be the best thing I have written in my life.”
Complementing the Mozart masterpiece is Francis Poulenc’s rollicking and witty Sextet, promising a dynamic experience for all attendees.
World-Class Local Talent
The ensemble is comprised of elite musicians from Altadena and surrounding San Gabriel Valley communities. These performers bring a wealth of experience from the region’s most prestigious stages.
