The South Pasadena Public Library invites children ages 4–12 to join Barks & Books, a fun and supportive program that helps young readers build confidence by reading aloud to Sawyer, the therapy dog.
Sessions will be held in the Children’s Room on select Wednesdays — September 10, October 8, November 12, and December 10 — from 4:30–5:30 PM.
Sign-ups are required and open on the Library’s website the Friday before each date. Drop-ins may be allowed at the handler’s discretion, but please note that late arrivals or no-shows risk losing their spot.
