
The fields of South Pasadena have concluded a vibrant Little League season, celebrating sportsmanship, community, and the thrill of the game. Across multiple divisions of baseball and softball, young athletes showcased their skills and passion, culminating in the crowning of several championship teams.
American League Champions: The Silverbacks
The Silverbacks (Gomez-Gaines) emerged victorious as the champions of the American League. Their consistent performance and teamwork throughout the season led them to the top spot.

Nationals League Champions: Showtime
In the Nationals League, it was “Showtime” that captured the championship title. The team celebrated their hard-earned victory with a display of the skills that got them there.

Juniors Division Champions: The Baby Rays
The Baby Rays (Castillo-Ramos) took home the championship in the Juniors Division. Their dedication and skill were on full display throughout the season.

South Pasadena Baseball Classic Champions: Monterey Hills Elementary
In a tournament that brought together local elementary schools, Monterey Hills Elementary were crowned champions of the South Pasadena Baseball Classic.

A Season of Success for South Pasadena Softball
The softball divisions also saw incredible talent and exciting finishes to their seasons.

The Violet Vipers, coached by Tommy McGrail and Tim Barker, are the Kid Pitch Softball champions. The team includes Lily Lipman, Claire Barker, Clara Weightman, Alex McGrail, Maggie Lee, Emilia Henriquez, Audrey Inclan, Jordan Chao, Mia Ortega, Kristen Tate, Joanna Zhu, Zara Robbins, and Gemma Tower (not pictured).

The Pink Nightmares claimed the title of Minors Softball champions. The team is comprised of players Bear Teal, Emily Nguyen, Eden Lagunas, Louisa McKinney, Sophia Daley, Jideora Crosby, Ellie Yoon, Everly McKinney, Arya Salazar, Brooklyn Sloan, Camryn Hager, Keira Barbarics, and Grace Garza (not pictured), and led by coaches Maelyn Hager and Erik McKinney.

In the South Pasadena Softball Classic, the team guided by Head Coach Michael Bearden and Assistant Coach Erik McKinney took home the championship. The champions are Leora Kaldor, Daisy Noel, Everly McKinney, Eden Lagunas, Paulinha Lynch, Pearl Bearden, Camryn Hager, Cooper Villarroel, and Chloe Vizcarra.
Celebrating the Spirit of Baseball in the Challenger Division
The Challenger Division once again embodied the pure joy of baseball, providing a wonderful experience for all its players. This year’s team included Nathan, Andrew, Leo, Ryan, Vincent, Cherish, Stephen, Anthony, Lucy, Adam, Max, Noah, Felix, Ryan, Chance, Jimmy, Jack, and Nico, along with Coach Scott and Coach Lorne.
