The closures are impacting major commuter routes in and around downtown Los Angeles, especially near Dodger Stadium.
The protests, drawing thousands of demonstrators, have brought traffic to a standstill on key roadways, with protesters recently blocking lanes on the 101 Freeway. In response, city officials have declared a curfew for the downtown area to maintain public safety.
