Arrested for Attempted Murder | South Pasadena Police Report

On Sunday, April 27, 2025, at approximately 1:39 p.m., South Pasadena Police officers responded to the 1300 block of Huntington Drive after multiple reports of a woman screaming for help. Officers arrived on scene and located a female victim with visible injuries and a male suspect believed to be connected to the incident.

According to the South Pasadena Police Department, the investigation revealed that the male suspect had threatened the victim’s life and physically attacked her. The woman was able to defend herself and retreat to a safe location to call 911, prompting a swift response from law enforcement.

The suspect, identified as 34-year-old Isaiah Gonzalez of South Pasadena, was detained at the scene. Officers confirmed that Gonzalez had violated an existing restraining order and subsequently arrested him on charges of attempted murder and violation of a court order. He was transported to the Pasadena City Jail for booking.
