activities occurring in the City of South Pasadena. An alert and well-informed citizen makes you less of a target to a criminal. Remember, call the South Pasadena Police Department to report any suspicious activity.
STOLEN VEHICLE
• 3-23-25, 3:33 AM to 3:42 AM, 300 block of Orange Grove (attempt). ’23,
Dodge Ram 1500. Suspect smashes window to gain entry into victim’s
vehicle and tampers with ignition, but is unable to start vehicle. SUSPECT
VEHICLE: SUV. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, wearing a hooded
jacket, black pants, tennis shoes and a facemask.
• 3-31-25, 4 AM to 7 AM, 1200 block of Monterey. ’08, Ford Van.
THEFT
• 3-24-25, 2:30 PM, 1700 block of Garfield (Ralphs). Suspect enters store
and takes loss, then exits store without paying for loss. Suspect is also
found to be in possession of a controlled substance. LOSS: Soap and
alcohol (recovered). SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 28 years.
• 3-24-25, 3 PM, 1100 block of Fair Oaks (Trader Joe’s). Victim is shopping
inside store and places loss in shopping cart. S1 distracts victim as S2
takes loss from shopping cart. Suspects later makes several unauthorized
purchases with victim’s credit card. LOSS: Fanny pack. SUSPECT
DESCRIPTION: (2) Male, Hispanics, teens, wearing hooded jackets.
• 3-25-25, 1:44 AM, 1000 block of Fremont. Officer sees suspect “fishing” for
mail out of a postal collection box and is arrested. LOSS: Mail (recovered).
SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 24 years, Los Angeles.
• 3-25-25, 2 PM, 1700 block of Huntington. US Postal Truck. Victim (mail
carrier) returns to vehicle and sees suspect exiting victim’s vehicle. LOSS:
None. SUSPECT VEHICLE: Gray, Honda Civic. SUSPECT
DESCRIPTION: Male, Hispanic, heavyset, 30 years, wearing black clothing
and a yellow reflective vest.
• 3-26-25, 5:37 PM, 1400 block of Fremont. Suspect takes loss from victim’s
front porch. LOSS: Parcel package. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male,
White, heavyset, 30 years, wearing a gray sweater, gray shorts and walking
a dog on a green leash.
• 3-27-25, 6:45 PM, 900 block of Fair Oaks (Rite-Aid). Suspect enters store
and takes loss, then exits store without paying for loss. LOSS: First aid
supplies and massager (recovered). SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, White,
35 years, San Francisco.
• 3-27-25, 11:22 PM, 800 block of Magnolia. Suspect takes loss from victim’s
front porch. LOSS: Bicycle. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, White, with
dreadlocks, wearing a tan headband, gray jacket, dark blue jeans, and
carrying a black backpack.
• 3-27-25, 7 PM to 3-28-25, 7 AM, 1300 block of Lyndon. ’13, Nissan Altima.
Suspect(s) enters victim’s unlocked vehicle and takes loss. Suspect(s)
attempt to make an unauthorized purchase with victim’s credit card. LOSS:
Wallet.
• 3-29-25, 12 PM to 12:30 PM, 1100 block of Fair Oaks (Trader Joe’s). Victim
is shopping inside store when S1 distracts victim and S2 takes unattended
loss from victim. LOSS: Cell phone. SUSPECTS DESCRIPTION: S1 –
Male, White, 5’9”-5’10”, bald with a neck tattoo, thin build, wearing a light
blue hoodie and dark colored pants. S2 – Male, Hispanic, 5’9” to 5’10”, black
beard, and wearing a gray sweater and dark colored jeans.
IDENTITY THEFT/FRAUD
• 3-25-25 to 3-27-25. Suspect(s) uses victim’s personal information to open
several bank accounts.
• 3-7-25. Suspect(s) gains access to victim’s account and uses victim’s
mileage rewards.
• 3-24-25. Suspect(s) gains access to victim’s check and alters it. Suspect(s)
then cashes altered check.
SHOOT AT INHABITED DWELLING/FELON POSSESS FIREARM
3-25-25, 3 PM, 1000 block of Adelaine. Suspect shoots firearm inside residence.
Officers respond and locate a firearm in yard and suspect is found to be a felon in
possession of a firearm. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 53 years, South
Pasadena.
POSSESS UNLAWFUL PARAPHERNALIA
3-23-25, 2:12 AM, Fair Oaks/Congress. Suspect is stopped for a traffic violation
and is found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. SUSPECT ARRESTED:
Male, Black, 43 years, Altadena.
POSSESS CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
• 3-5-25, 1 AM, Monterey/Via Del Rey. Suspects are stopped for a traffic
violation and S1 is found to be in possession of a controlled substance. S2
is found to be in possession of burglary tools. SUSPECTS ARRESTED:
S1 – Male, Filipino, 44 years, Los Angeles. S2 – Male, White, 38 years,
Pasadena.
• 3-26-25, 1:44 AM, Diamond/Monterey. Suspect is stopped for a traffic
violation and is found to be in possession of a controlled substance.
SUSPECT ARRESTED: S1 – Male, Hispanic, 32 years, Reseda. S2 –
Female, White, 40 years, Tarzana.
FELON POSSESS FIREARM
3-31-25, 9:29 PM, 2000 block of Fremont. Suspect is stopped for a traffic violation
and is found to have an outstanding warrant. Suspect is also found to be in
possession of a firearm. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 33 years, Los
Angeles.
ARSON
3-28-25, 12:38 AM, Meridian/El Centro. Suspect ignites a trashcan on fire.
SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 27 years, West Covina.
VANDALISM
• 3-22-25, 3 PM, 600 block of Fair Oaks. ’18, Toyota RAV4. Suspect(s)
scratches victim’s vehicle.
• 3-28-25, 6:30 PM to 3-29-25, 9 AM, 900 block of El Centro. Suspect(s)
writes graffiti on victim’s business window.
DUI
• 3-29-25, 11:10 PM, Huntington/Bushnell. Suspect is stopped for a traffic
violation and is found to be driving under the influence of alcohol.
SUSPECT ARRESTED: Female, Hispanic, 25 years, Los Angeles.
• 3-30-25, 12:22 AM, Orange Grove/Orange Grove Terrace. Suspect is
stopped for a traffic violation and is found to be driving under the influence
of alcohol. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 41 years, Hesperia.
