A classic spring pattern is settling over South Pasadena this week, with warm sunshine giving way to cooler nights and a return of that familiar late-night and early-morning fog. After a brief Monday heat spike, temperatures will gradually ease down into the low 70s by the end of the week.

Expect increasing cloud cover with patchy fog developing after 11 p.m. Overnight lows will dip to around 58°F, with calm winds and a quiet evening ahead.

Monday:
A warm one! Patchy fog will linger into the morning hours, then it’s full steam ahead into summer-like temps. Skies will gradually clear, and the high will reach a balmy 91°F—one of the hottest days in recent weeks. A light southwest breeze in the afternoon will offer some relief.

Monday Night:
Mostly clear skies and a mild low near 60°F. Winds will be light, shifting from the west to calm after sunset.

Tuesday:
We’ll begin cooling down. Skies stay mostly sunny, with highs near 85°F—still warm, but noticeably less intense than Monday. Light afternoon breezes from the south-southwest.

Tuesday Night:
Fog returns after 11 p.m., along with increasing clouds. Overnight low around 56°F.

Wednesday:
Morning fog clears to a pleasant mostly sunny day with highs around 75°F. A cooler, more coastal-influenced pattern begins to take shape.

Wednesday Night:
Fog creeps back in overnight. Partly cloudy skies and a low around 54°F.

Thursday:
Patchy fog in the morning, then partly sunny skies. Highs continue to cool, landing near 72°F.

Looking Ahead:
Expect a steady rhythm of partly sunny skies, daytime highs in the low 70s, and cool nights in the high 40s to low 50s through the weekend. Fog may continue its nightly appearances, but overall, a tranquil and mild spring stretch is in store.
