LA County Probation Department Seizes Dangerous Drugs in Santa Clarita Operation

The Los Angeles County Probation Department continues its efforts to enhance public safety, successfully seizing a large quantity of illegal drugs during a recent compliance check in Santa Clarita. Officers from the department’s AB 109 Region Five Team recovered heroin, cocaine, fentanyl, and other illicit substances, stopping them from further endangering the community.

Significant Drug Seizure

During the operation, officers discovered and confiscated:

  • 212 grams of heroin
  • 284.5 grams of cocaine
  • 25.4 grams of yellow cocaine
  • 260.7 grams of fentanyl
  • Approximately 35 lbs. of marijuana
  • Approximately 4 lbs. of mushrooms

In addition to the drug seizure, officers recovered a stolen Dodge Challenger from Bakersfield, which had license plates belonging to a KIA. The probationer, previously convicted of drug sales and firearm possession, now faces additional charges related to drug trafficking and stolen property.
