Look around South Pasadena and it’s evident that autumn has arrived.

School is back in full swing, stores are carrying sweaters, scarves and jackets, and the normally empty lot at Fremont Avenue and Mission Street is full of pumpkins.

That means it’s almost time for the Fall Arts Crawl!

Saturday, October 20, from 5 to 9 p.m. is the date of the big event as residents and visitors to the city will have a unique opportunity to shop, eat and “do” South Pasadena.

Merchants and eateries are planning their fall menus, open houses, exhibits and trunk shows, the Preservation Foundation and D.U.D.E.S. are working on the second annual Oktoberfest, and artisans are busy working on handcrafted creations for your shopping pleasure.

For merchant and artist participation, please contact Hope Perello, Director of SPACE, at southpasarts@sbcglobal.net.

The quarterly Arts Crawls are organized by the South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, and produced by SPACE, to highlight the city’s unique business district while providing a showcase for artists and musicians.
