On Thursday, August 7, 2025, at approximately 12:22 p.m., South Pasadena police officers responded to reports of a male subject looking into vehicles and vandalizing a wall in the 1500 block of Mission Street.
Responding officers quickly arrived, located a man matching the description, and witnessed him graffitiing the wall. The suspect was identified as David Estrada, 24, of Los Angeles. Officers determined that Estrada had vandalized multiple locations within the Mission Business District.
Estrada, a member of the “Florencia 13” street gang, was arrested for felony vandalism and transported to the Pasadena City Jail for booking.
A follow-up investigation is ongoing to identify additional victims and determine the full scope of the vandalism.
