Southern California’s beloved music series, Wine & Song, will take the stage at this year’s NextFest LA, a multi-stage celebration happening during the LA County Fair. The showcase takes place Sunday, May 25 at the Heritage Stage, starting at 2:30 p.m., offering fairgoers a chance to enjoy quality Americana and blues performances near the iconic pig races.

Musician Brad Colerick opens the set at 2:30 p.m., followed by Jodi Siegel at 3:45 p.m., and the dynamic duo The Nextdoors at 5:00 p.m. The event is part of NextFest LA, which features six music stages and diverse programming. Attendees are encouraged to come early, grab a corn dog, and enjoy a day of family-friendly entertainment.
Midweek Music Continues in South Pasadena
The celebration continues on Wednesday, May 28, with a Wine & Song evening at The Daily, located at 1119 Fair Oaks Avenue, South Pasadena. The evening features Jodi Siegel alongside special guests Sally Barker and Vicki Genfan, internationally acclaimed singer-songwriters known for their rich musical backgrounds and powerful collaborations.
Doors open at 6:00 p.m., and The Daily offers a full bar and a curated menu. Nearby dining options include Silverlake Ramen, Ai, Mamma’s Pizza, and Golden China for guests looking to enjoy dinner before the show.
About the Artists
- Jodi Siegel, a Chicago-born blues artist now based in California, has played alongside legends like Albert King and Robert Cray. Her latest album Wild Hearts showcases her soulful songwriting and musical range.
- Sally Barker (finalist on The Voice UK) and Vicki Genfan (the first woman to win Guitar Player Magazine’s Guitar Superstar title) are transatlantic collaborators now based in North Carolina. Their debut album is a tribute to the musical richness of the Appalachian region.
- Gayle Skidmore, a rising singer-songwriter from San Diego, will also make a special guest appearance.
