The City of South Pasadena has officially released its 2025 Summer Recreation Guide, offering residents a wide variety of classes, specialty camps, and programs designed to keep the community active and engaged from June through August.
Programs are open to all age groups and will be held at various parks and community facilities throughout South Pasadena. Registration is now open at southpasadenaca.gov/classes.
New Programs and Partnerships for Summer 2025
This summer brings an exciting addition to South Pasadena’s program lineup with the introduction of Skyhawks North LA, a renowned youth sports camp provider. For the first time, Skyhawks will offer soccer, basketball, and flag football camps, bringing their dynamic and skill-building approach to local youth.
“We’re excited to bring back a strong lineup of summer activities and to introduce new partners like Skyhawks,” said Lucy Hakobian, Community Services Director for the City of South Pasadena. “These programs are a great way for residents to stay active, build community, and have fun all summer long.”
Specialty Camps and Recreation Classes
In addition to traditional recreation classes, the 2025 summer schedule includes specialty camps such as:
- Horseback Riding
- Skateboarding
- Fitness and Conditioning
- Creative Arts
- Multi-Sport Camps
Designed to accommodate various interests and skill levels, these programs make it easy for families and individuals to customize their summer activities.
Early Registration Encouraged
All details, including program dates, times, and fees, are now available in the 2025 Summer Recreation Guide. The City encourages early registration as space is limited in many popular programs.
