Texas-bred keyboardist Teresa James and her band, the Rhythm Tramps, have long reigned as one of the leading blues bands in L.A. Much of their repertoire comes from the pen of Terry Wilson, Teresa’s husband, producer, and bassist. Their 2019 album Here in Babylon was nominated for a Grammy in the Contemporary Blues Album category. Rose-Colored Glasses, the band’s latest release once again showcases Teresa’s enticing way with a lyric and Terry’s prolific songwriting talent. Guitar great Billy Watts will also be with Teresa and Terry for this show. Clayton Chaney’s humorous and hard-hitting songs often narrate an ever-changing west coast coming-of-age. He draws inspiration from the sounds of Roger Miller and The Band as well as newer influences like Dawes and John Moreland. As former frontman of bluegrass band The Show Ponies, Chaney has graced the stages of big cities and small towns across the U.S. He’ll be joined by virtuoso fiddler Philip Glenn.
