In the wake of Merle Haggard, John Prine, and Steve Earle is an Americana artist with some radical hair by the name of Adam Lopez. He has worked with a long list of notable names in American roots music. With a warm soulful voice and guitar picking style that seamlessly blends country, folk, and blues, his life’s journey has given him the stories behind his songs — the love, broken hearts, successes, failures, regrets, lessons, and epiphanies. Also with us — the always enjoyable duo of Korey Simeone and Tom Moose. Great songwriting, virtuosic instrumental skills, and a touch of Smothers Brothers humor are all part of the offering from these two friends and co-founders of Ikes Creek. We’ll also hear from special guest Nick Justice on this penultimate Lost Parrot show. On June 26 the series will be moving to Mamma’s Brick Oven.
