FOR STUDENTS

We’re here for true academic support.
At Insight Collective Academy, academic support goes beyond ensuring your child works on their homework. We provide research-backed support with executive functioning, time management, and goal setting. Our staff is trained in encouraging students to use a wide variety of tools and strategies to help them thrive.

Our staff are experts in social emotional development - and fun!
Every day at Insight Collective Academy is a balance between academic time and social time. Our staff facilitates a positive group dynamic so your child can develop authentic social emotional skills within this small-group environment. With such a small enrollment, we’re able to support these important skills, while having a lot of fun.

We support independence, autonomy, and self-advocacy.

Our program is designed for students to be successful beyond Insight Collective Academy. Our program empowers students to develop independent learning skills, such as time management, organization, self-advocacy, and goal planning. It takes a village to raise a child - and we’re here to help you.

We have additional resources available, if needed!

Being part of Insight Collective, we can recommend additional in-house support options for your child, such as neuropsychologial assessments, academic achievement screenings, executive functioning screenings, educational therapy, neurofeedback training, and more!

FOR PARENTS

Finally, a specialized after-school program that supports ALL learners!
We work with kids that learn differently, and we empower your child to advocate for themselves. By getting to know each child individually through academic screening, we understand how to best support them to thrive in and out of the classroom. We also collaborate with your child’s school to provide wrap-around support!

It takes a village. We’re here to support you, parents!
Parenting is hard. Insight Collective Academy is designed to be flexible for your family. You choose your child’s schedule! Plus, we provide an all-in-one app that allows you to easily set your child’s schedule, manage billing, receive updates, and monitor your child’s progress.

Say goodbye to asking if their homework is done!

Open communication between parents and Insight Academy is our priority. We will support your child and YOU in the process so you can feel confident knowing the answers to these common questions:

  • Is all of your homework done?

  • Do you have any tests this week?

  • Do you have a plan to study for Thursday’s math test?

Plus, we provide updates about your child’s social emotional progress! You’ll always know exactly what’s going on.

Meet Our Education Director

Elaine Ricci is the Education Director at Insight Academy. She has been an educator in both private and public school settings for nearly thirty years and considers working with children to be a calling, not a job. Her degree is in Radio and Television Broadcasting, and she holds both a California Teaching Credential and Reading Certificate. As well as being the Education Director at the Academy, she works as both an academic and executive functioning coach for students from preschool to high school and leads the popular social skills classes at Insight Collective. Her life experience has informed her philosophy on teaching: take kids where they are and how they are and show them that they can take their next step. “Keep them curious and keep them guessing, they will learn.”

Elaine’s greatest loves are her sons who laugh at her, her friends who support her without judgement, and her students who question her. She enjoys finding new ways to fail every day. Yes, fail. It is a four-letter word but not a bad one. If you are not failing, you are not expanding. She equally loves traveling, spending time in museums learning from the past, and taking leaps of faith into the future by creating new ways of doing things. She likes being a big kid.
