Weekly Crime Summary February 14 – 20, 2018

The Weekly Crime Summary is a list of reported auto thefts, burglaries, robberies and other activities occurring in the City of South Pasadena.

South Pasadena Police Department

ROBBERY/RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

•2-20-18, 5:30 p.m., 500 block of Arroyo. Victim (female, 80 years) is home when suspects smash a rear bedroom sliding glass door to gain entry. Victim hears noise and goes to bedroom and is confronted by S1. Victim tells S1 to leave and S1 refuses. Victim briefly sees S2 as S1 pushes victim into a bathroom. S1 holds door closed as S2 ransacks bedrooms. After about ten minutes, suspects take unknown loss and leaves. Victim calls police and officers are unable to locate suspects. Loss: Unknown. Weapon used: Hands. Suspects Description: S1 – Male, dark skin, 30 years, 6’00”, medium build, dark eyes, wearing black clothing with a black mask covering the bottom portion of face. S2 – Male. Suspect Vehicle: Unknown, not seen.
ASSAULT

• 2-17-18, 7:38 p.m., 600 block of Fair Oaks (Bristol Farms). Suspect uses business phone without permission, and employee tells suspect no personal calls allowed and asks suspect to hang-up. Suspect refuses and continues to talk on phone. Employee again asks suspect to hang-up and suspect gets upset and spits at employee. Suspect Arrested: Female, Hispanic, 18 years, transient.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

• 2-10-18, 6 p.m. to 2-14-18, 7:30 p.m., 1100 block of Oxley. Suspect(s) pries rear window to gain entry into victim’s residence. Loss: Firearm and miscellaneous items.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY

• 2-14-18 to 2-14-18, 1600 block of Hope (office). Suspect(s) gains entry by unknown means and takes loss. Loss: Computer.
AUTO BURGLARY

•2-13-18, 10:00 PM to 2-14-18, 6:30 a.m., 900 block of Arroyo. ’13 Honda Pilot. Suspect(s) smashes window of victim’s vehicle to gain entry. Loss: None.

•2-13-18, 9 p.m. to 2-14-18, 5:45 a.m., 900 block of Arroyo. ’02 Honda Civic. Suspect(s) smashes window of victim’s vehicle to gain entry and takes loss. Loss: Purse, sunglasses, miscellaneous items.

•2-19-18, 10:47 p.m. to 11:23 p.m., 700 block of Orange Grove. ’01, Hyundai Santa Fe. Suspect(s) enters victim’s vehicle by unknown means and takes loss. Loss: Tools. Suspect Description: Male, White, 20 years, 5’5”, thin build, bald and wearing black clothing.

THEFT                                                                                                                        •2-14-18, 7:00 p.m. to 2-15-18, 6:50 a.m., 400 block of Raymondale. Suspect(s) take loss from victim’s patio. Loss: Bicycle, gym equipment, miscellaneous tools.

•2-15-18, 11:11 a.m. to 11:39 a.m., 400 block of Fair Oaks. ’99 Lexus ES 300. Suspect(s) takes loss from victim’s vehicle. Loss: License plate.

•2-16-18, 8:51 p.m. 1100 block of Fair Oaks (Vons). Suspect takes and consumes loss in store without attempting to pay. Suspect Arrested: Male, Black, 30 years, transient. Loss: Food items.

•2-17-18, 7 p.m. to 7:09 p.m., 600 block of Fair Oaks (Bristol Farms). Suspect takes and consumes loss in store without attempting to pay. Suspect Arrested: Male, Black, 30 years, transient. Loss: Food item.

•2-17-18, 4:45 p.m. to 2-18-18, 11:45 a.m., 1600 block of Huntington. Suspect(s) takes loss from victim’s front porch. Loss: Parcel package.

IDENTITY THEFT/CREDIT CARD FRAUD/CHECK FRAUD
•11-15-17, 12:00 a.m. to 11-16-17, 11:59 PM, 1800 block of Bushnell. Suspect(s) gains access to victim’s credit card account and makes an unauthorized purchase.

LEWD CONDUCT
•2-18-18, 6:41 p.m., 1100 block of Mission (Tomato Pie). Suspect masturbates in restaurant while looking at patrons. Suspect Arrested: Male, Black, 58 years, transient.

VANDALISM
• 2-18-18, 11:20 p.m. to 2-19-18, 11 a.m., 2000 block of Milan. Suspect damages victim’s vehicle and also throws eggs at it.
