South Pasadena High lost to Canyon 20-14 Thursday afternoon in CIF-Southern Section play and finished the season with an impressive overall 21-7 record.
Canyon’s victory propels the Comanches into the next round of CIF action on Saturday against Capistrano Valley while the Tigers can look back on a highly successful season.
South Pasadena finished third in Rio Hondo League play with a 5-3 record behind the top two finishers La Canada and Temple City.
The Tigers can be proud of finishing the season strong, winning 12 of their final 15 matches, including a 10-5 victory over Rancho Cucamonga to open the CIF Playoffs.
