The South Pasadena High Tiger Run 5k/10 participants, which traditionally includes from 600-700 participants and raises funds for the school’s Booster Club, is slated for Saturday, Dec. 2, starting from Diamond Avenue at 8 a.m. in front of the gymnasium on campus.
Race categories for the event include: Wheelchair (5K Race) 40-44, Elementary (K-5), 45-49, Middle School (6-8), High School (9-12), 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-79 and 80-plus.
Kids are also a big part of the event starting at 9:30 a.m. as a 300-meter Tiger Cub Run on school track will follow the 5k and 10k runs.
South Pasadena High School is located at 1401 Fremont Ave. in the city.
